Online Poker and Texas Hold 'Em

Online poker has exploded in popularity, thanks in part to televised high-stakes poker tournaments, although it is illegal in some states and countries. Depending on where you live, you may have to use alternate payment methods, as certain payment companies and U.S. credit-card issuers don't accept transactions from gambling sites. Most of these sites will allow you to practice or play for money.
Online Poker Basics
From seniors to college students, people are flooding into poker rooms, both online and offline, like never before. The recent poker craze owes a lot to the success of televised high-stakes tournaments like the World Series of Poker, and it has made Texas Hold 'Em one of the hottest games on the Internet.
