EverQuest 2 Gets SOEmote

Sony has taken emotes in EverQuest 2 to the next level by adding their new SOEmote technology, which translates the facial expressions of players onto their characters in the game via webcam. It even attempts to lip-sync with the in-game voice chat and lets you alter the sound of your voice. A video demonstration of SOEmote has been posted on YouTube. Of course, the models in EQ2 are showing their age, so some expressions come off looking a bit odd, but it's still quite impressive.
