OnLive's cloud gaming service has officially launched, allowing people to stream high-end games to their PC or Mac over the Internet. There are currently about 20 titles on the service, including Assassin's Creed 2, Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands, Mass Effect 2, Dragon Age: Origins, and Batman: Arkham Asylum, although not all of them are available for Mac. There isn't a lot of information about pricing on their site, but they are offering a Founding Members Program that grants free access to the service for a year. Note that you will still have to purchase any games you want to play. OnLive is also planning to release a MicroConsole that will extend the service to television sets.

“OnLive Now Live”… not really. Can you actually sign up and play a game on OnLive today?
i dont think you can… just tried it.. didnt work
Hmmm, it says “available now” on their web site, but I guess they’re just accepting sign-ups and putting people on some sort of waiting list. Kind of an odd way to launch a service.
