Information about the upcoming online version of Need for Speed has been trickling out recently, including a Q&A from the producer, and a first peek at the game's interface. We haven't seen a really successful online driving game for the PC yet, although there have been attempts like Auto Assault and Motor City Online. Need for Speed World Online will take a different approach, offering police chases, team events, and even a co-op mode. They also intend to make it downloadable and free-to-play.
