WoW: Wrath of the Lich King Midnight Launch

The highly-anticipated Wrath of the Lich King expansion for World of Warcraft went live at 12:00 AM, accompanied with midnight launch events in major centers around the globe. If you are among the rush of players heading into Northrend, don't delete your old patches before installing the expansion, because a couple of them need to be reapplied. Just leave them where they are and the patcher should find them. To get to Northrend, you have to talk to one of the transportation masters in Orgrimmar, Undercity, Stormwind Harbor, or Menethil Harbor. A few people have been wondering if they can purchase a key online and/or download Wrath of the Lich, and the answer is - not yet. They probably will make it available digitally before long, as they did with The Burning Crusade. I expect the servers to be stretched to the limit this weekend, but I'm still looking forward to jumping in there.
