Whirled Launches

Three Rings, who developed the popular Puzzle Pirates game, have opened up Whirled, their latest project, to the public. Whirled is intended to be more than another aggregate of Flash games, it is a platform designed to allow for a variety of user-created content. The whole system is browser-based, giving those who like to tinker access to the needed APIs and even the source code for the games provided by Three Rings, which should help newcomers get started. Whirled also incorporates financial transactions, so creators have a way to earn money from their games and virtual items.
