Cryptic Takes Over Star Trek Online

The word is out that Cryptic Studios, the creators of City of Heroes, has taken over the global rights to develop and publish Star Trek Online following problems at Perpetual Entertainment, the company that was previously working on the project. Apparently the game will be available for both PC and console, and they will reveal more about it at the Star Trek Convention in Las Vegas on August 10th. Cryptic is also making another superhero MMORPG called Champions Online.
