Age of Conan Open Beta Plans
Saturday April 19, 2008
As well as the PvP beta event taking place this weekend, Funcom has revealed their plans for an open beta of Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures, which will be available through FilePlanet on the 1st of May. You need to be a FilePlanet subscriber to participate, and the beta will have some limitations, such as a level cap of 13.

Is this going to be a free online RPG? Good Free RPG Games
No, the beta will be free, the game itself will cost money when it’s released, and there will be subscription fees as well. I wouldn’t expect a game of this calibre to be free.
“A game of this caliber?” You must of said this before the game was released cuz it is the biggest worthless pile of s–t game in the world.
That post was made 1 month before the game launched in North America.
I never got around to reviewing it, but I did play the beta, and to be fair, even then it was better than many of the “free” MMORPGs available.
Cheers,
Dave
