Age of Conan PvP Beta Event

Funcom has partnered with Gamespot to open up the Age of Conan beta for a PvP weekend from Friday April 18th to Sunday April 20th. They'll be accepting 15,000 players for the event, and you can sign-up for it with your GameSpot registration. The event will feature two of Age of Conan's PvP mini-games: Capture the Skull and Team Annihilation. "All 12 classes in the game, including the barbarian, can be picked and tested, with Funcom transforming each character into a fully specced level 20 death machine. In PvP lobbies players can then chat and socialize, prior to entering PvP matches. Participants are urged to test different classes, and offer any feedback on the forums." No word yet on how large the client will be, but those that are accepted will be able to start downloading on the Wednesday before the event.
