Exteel and Saga Launch

Tuesday March 18, 2008
If you're up for some free online entertainment, there are a couple of new games to choose from that are a little out of the ordinary. Saga is a persistent world strategy game in a fantasy setting where players build cities and recruit armies to conquer their enemies. It also includes some elements that are similar to a collectible card game. The free version has certain features locked but there is no time limit, and full access is available for $19.95 with no monthly fees.

For fans of futuristic robot battles, NCsoft has recently released Exteel, which puts you in command of a highly customizable Mechanaught. As you gain experience and rank in arena-like PvP matches, you can add a wide variety of parts and weapons to your machine. Exteel uses a micro-payment renenue model, allowing you to purchase equipment for your Mechanaught using real money through their NCcoin system.
