Activision and Blizzard to Merge

The BBC is reporting that Activision and Blizzard have struck a deal worth $18.8 billion that will see the two companies merge. The resultant gaming powerhouse will be called Activision Blizzard, which they intend to turn into "the world's most profitable games business." It should be interersting to watch, as they certainly have some successful brands to work with and no shortage of investment capital. (Thanks Blue's News.)
