Total Annihilation fans will be happy to hear that Supreme Commander is now in open beta. This real-time strategy game offers futuristic battles between 3 warring factions. "Plan, coordinate, and unleash strategic ground, naval and air attacks in a true display of combined-arms tactics. Use your heavy bombers to weaken a key enemy position before sending in your ground assault forces to mop up any survivors. Shell enemy fortifications with your water-based destroyers, or use submarines to launch a surprise attack against enemy aircraft carriers." Keys are being given out on a first come, first served basis, and space is limited. The 1.2 GB beta can be downloaded from FilePlanet.

They have improved a huge amount of stuff on this and it has the crack built in plus the speed up mod, alot less lag in theis version, better affects, nukes are improved to give a more mushroom shaped affect, you need to register on the site but its truely worth it.
