MMORPG to be Based on Shakespeare

Last week it was a MMORPG based on dancing, this week CNET has news about an upcoming virtual world based on the works of Shakespeare. The word is that Edward Castronova, telecommunications professor and game economy expert, has secured a MacArthur Foundation grant to fund the project, which will be called Arden: The World of Shakespeare. The game is not being made for profit, but rather for use as an educational tool. There's a press release on the Indiana University site with more details.
