Imperator Postponed Indefinitely

Mythic Entertainment has decided to halt production of Imperator and reassign personnel to other projects, including Dark Age of Camelot and Warhammer Online, according to this press release. Imperator was to be an "alternative history" MMORPG based on the premise that Ancient Rome never fell, but rather developed into a technically advanced society capable of space travel. I'd estimate that this would be a tough sell in the current market.
