Cornering the WoW Market

Wednesday April 6, 2005
There's an interesting discussion on the World of Warcraft Forum about two players who recently bought every item in the action house on the Elune server, simply to turn around and sell it at a higher price. This is perfectly legitimate gameplay, but reaction to the event is mixed. While some people argue that it's bad for game's economy, the majority seem to think that it only has a brief impact on trade. It's certainly unlikely that two players could keep this up for long. Now if an entire guild tried to do it, that could be another matter. Thanks Terra Nova.
