WoW Warrior Protest

Monday January 31, 2005
Thanks go out to Joel for bringing my attention to some screenshots on The Cesspit of the recent Warrior class protest in World of Warcraft. Apparently a bunch of Warriors on the Argent Dawn server decided to get together to express their dissatisfaction with what they perceive to be deficiencies in their class. A pack of angry Gnomes gathering at Ironforge is something you really don't want to miss. Of course, this sort of activity wreaks havoc on game servers, and Blizzard was none too happy about it, eventually suspending those involved. It's not the first time players have staged a protest in a MMORPG, and probably won't be the last, but it's always fun to watch. Too bad the game doesn't actually support events like this.
Poll: Game Wars - World of Warcraft vs. City of Heroes.
