The Matrix Online Delayed Again

Warner Bros. has announced that The Matrix Online will not be released in January as planned. The game is now scheduled to ship in Spring 2005. Apparently they are taking extra steps to ensure "the best possible experience for players." This is the second time the game's release date has been pushed back. One has to wonder if The Matrix Online will be able to compete with hits like World of Warcraft and EverQuest II, or whether this is the beginning of the countdown to cancellation.
