John Carmack at GDC

GameSpy has a good summary of John Carmack's keynote speech at the Game Developers Conference in San Jose, California. It was a fairly general discussion about the usual geek stuff: graphics, game environments, and what we might be playing in the future. No release date for Doom 3 was mentioned, but a friend of a friend of my bartender's brother assured me that it will be soon.
