Real Football vs. Virtual Football

It has become standard proceedure to play the Super Bowl in the virtual world before the real world game goes down. Several of the leading Football video games stage annual events where two members of the real teams compete in NFL GameDay or Madden Football using their virtual teams. Remarkably, before Super Bowl XXXVIII, the winner of the NFL GameDay's "Game Before the Game" had gone on to win the real game 8 years in a row. GameSpot has done a little research of their own by pitting the Super Bowl teams against each other in 3 different football video games so we can compare the results. Not as exciting as the big game itself turned out to be, but still quite interesting.
