Far Cry Demo Released

Ubisoft has made a demo of their upcoming shooter, Far Cry, available. It's a single-player demo, but the game will have multiplayer capabilities. This should give you a taste of the new CryEngine, which is intended to push the gaming threshold with Polybump mapping, advanced environment and character physics, destructible terrain, and "the longest view-distance ever witnessed in a first-person shooter." The 496 MB download can be found on 3D Gamers, Action Trip, FileShack, FilePlanet, and Worthplaying.
