PlanetSide Expanding Underground

Having accumulated over 60,000 subscribers since its launch in May, Sony has decided that an expansion for PlanetSide is in order. Core Combat, due this October, will take the mayhem into subterranean alien complexes. As well as six additional war zones, there will be a variety of new weapons, vehicles, and special technology that can be used to upgrade existing surface facilities. Yahoo has the press release, and details are slowly beginning to emerge on the official PlanetSide site.
